Last Tuesday Nadieh rode a first test on the Team ILR (Ian Lougher Racing) Kawasaki ZX-10, and left with a great feeling. With an eye on future plans, the decision was made to step up from the Ducati TriOptions Cup to Superstock 1000 for the last BSB meeting of the year, at Brands Hatch GP 16-18 October.
Schoots and her familiar #40 will compete on a ZX-10 for Team ILR this weekend, a great opportunity for the 24 year old hailing from Spijkenisse (The Netherlands), who wants to learn as much as possible from team owner Ian Lougher.
Nadieh: “It has always been the plan to move up to the STK1000 series, but I have taken my time to learn the British tracks on the Ducati, considering the extremely strong superstock field. To get a jumpstart on 2016 now, with Team ILR, is amazing and I will definitely make the most of it.”.
The National Superstock 1000 race will take place on Sunday 18 October at 11:40 local time. At the moment there are 43 entries, while the grid only has room for 40. There is no doubt with Nadieh and the team about making the race, however she will have to give it her all in qualifying!
